First APPDE invitational workshop on Guideline Implementation
4 June & 5 June 2010
Organized in collaboration with the Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy (KNGF)
The APPDE has been working closely with the developers of the Dutch national Guideline for physical therapy in Parkinson’s disease, to sponsor, plan and organize the first step in what is hoped to be the European implementation of this evidence-based guideline (www.appde.eu).
Seven countries are being invited to participate. Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, Czech Republic and Portugal. Draft implementations plans of three of these countries will be presented and discussed during the workshop (i.e. Switzerland, Sweden and Italy).
The event will take place on from 4 June (7pm) to 5 June (5pm) 2010 at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre in the Netherlands. More detailed information about the workshop will be presented at this website in the near future, as well as at the APPDE general assembly in Glasgow. The APPDE General Assembly will take place at WPC Thursday 30th of September.
